Marble Floor Tiles - Time to be Different!

Both carpets and wood look nice as floor covering and yes, they come in a whole variety of materials and designs, but everyone has them right. A unique home is one which really has something different to all the other ‘standard’ homes, which tend to follow the times in décor. Come in Marble Floor Tiles!

If you like something you should just go for it whether it's considered in vogue or not. That's if you can get hold of whatever it is you're wanting of course! It’s funny sometimes how so many things relating to home décor go out for years and become considered dowdy and old fashioned, only to return in the future as the latest and most exciting thing to happen to home decoration in years. Marble floor tiles is one such phenomenon!

Were all familiar with laminate floor tiles that so many of us grew up with, and the pastoral terracotta floor tiles, the trendy slate tiles, and all the various stone floor tiles available today, but the new trend in home flooring is marble. It’s been around since ancient civilization but now it’s made its way into modern day homes and businesses with growing popularity.

Those who haven’t experienced the beauty of marble floor tiles find it hard to visualize them as a fitting floor surface for homes, but seeing really is believing!. Be warned, marble floor tiles can become addictive and one has to be careful not to run through the surfaces of the entire house. we now have marble in kitchen and bathroom, and plan to do the front porch in them too.

Marble floor tiles are certainly not the most inexpensive option for homeowners, and they have a long way to go before they’re as popular as Mannington Floors for example, but I’m convinced that marble is the best all round value for money, design, durability and everlasting style. The stones have endured a staple for quality construction and design, gracing luxurious homes and court yards for centuries.



Marble tiles are not just being used on the floors though. A Friend of mine has recently installed a beautiful cast-iron fireplace which has an Edwardian style marble mantle, and it really does bring out a majestic quality to the dining room. The contrast between the rustic nature of a house and the old world elegance of marble floor tiles has an incredibly serene feel to it, and makes a great relaxing area in any home, whether modern American or old English style.

There are cheaper options and also quite a number of

imitations too, but personally I prefer the real McCoy and would rather wait until I can afford the more expensive marble, as I believe it to be a good overall investment. It can only increase the value of my home in the long run. Oh well, I’ll just have to live with my dreadful vinyl floors for another year or so.

Marble floor tiles are not only appealing to the eye, but they are also good for our general health. The dense surface of the tiles do not have pores that capture allergy-inducing irritants such as the case with some woods, rugs and carpets.

By now you’ve probably realized that I have an absolute passion for the exquisite and timeless marble floor tiles. Why? Well they’ve always graced the finest buildings in the world, but now we lucky home owners can appreciate the splendor and elegance of this much loved surface too.

Marble floor tiles are so easy to clean they can be quickly washed with a single sweep of a mop. As a result, marble floors make for a perfect quality flooring that requires very little maintenance, and it never fails to give off that constant, natural sheen that’s just simply beautiful.

The surface is also treated easily with disinfectants that work best on hard surfaces. I would feel better having the sanitary marble floor tiles as opposed to wood floors in my kitchen and bath area. I also like the idea of using the tiles in my entry way because this area is often filled with dirt and germs as people come and go.

So, lets forget those carpets, the woods and the tacky cheap ceramics, as marble floor tiles are the newest old style flooring that everyone’s talking about. There’s no question of doubt that Marble floor tiles lift any room to a majestic splendor irrespective of its size or shape.
